Neal A. Maxwell

"Within the swirling global events- events from which we are not totally immune- is humanity's real and continuting struggle: whether or not, amid the cares of the world, we really choose, in the words of the Lord, to "care for the life of the soul." Whatever our anxious involvements with outward events, this inner struggle proceeds in both tranquil and turbulent times. Whether understood or recognized, this is the unchanging moral agendum from generation to generation."

laughCRY

Another semester down. Two more to go. Is that light I see? Since I'm high on 'post-finals-energy' I'm gonna sit back and highlight the best moments of the quarter:

1.) Rockin' my draping class cuz of my mad sewing skills. This picture is from the bustier/skirt design assignment. It wasn't my favorite project but my teacher liked it and is submitting to administration to be featured in an upcoming FIDM catalog... somethin' like that.

2.) My aboriginal art inspired group. Loved it.

3.) Anthropologie market research assignment. I now know who I want to work for when I graduate.

4.) Having a job in my industry, that's only seven minutes away from my home, where I get a lot of experience and also get a lot of opportunities to laugh and cry EVERY DAY! Cheers ladies!

5.) Modeling silk, faille, SIZE 0 pants in class today from Max Studio. Cheers to poverty and anxiety that facilitates my smallness (I'm not usually size 0... but I was pretty impressed with myself today.)

6.) Surviving the all-nighters... barely.

Size 0? I don't want to hear about it.

Charlotte I LOVE LOVE LOVE your designs! So amazing! And especially your title - instantly I pictured you doing the laughCRY. Well done.

I love it when you wear a pen in your ear. It reminds of your Living Legends sewing days. And now you're amazing! I adore you! Are you really pregnant??! :)
