Neal A. Maxwell

"Within the swirling global events- events from which we are not totally immune- is humanity's real and continuting struggle: whether or not, amid the cares of the world, we really choose, in the words of the Lord, to "care for the life of the soul." Whatever our anxious involvements with outward events, this inner struggle proceeds in both tranquil and turbulent times. Whether understood or recognized, this is the unchanging moral agendum from generation to generation."

My Personal Stylist

Usually Chloe picks out my outfits (when I can't avoid it) but since she was at school, Malia quickly offered her help. After searching through my closet for anything with a sparkle or embellishment, she pointed to what I was to wear and left my room, closing the door behind her. When I came out of my room dressed for the day she, wide-eyed, exclaimed, "You look gorgeous!" Then kneeling down, she examined my shoes and asked, "Are those heels?" I explained that they were flats. At which point she stood up to analyze my outfit again. Then resting her chin on her fist she softly shook her head and quietly gasped, "...just fablulous!"
As you can see, she did some dressing of her own. The heap of shoes high heels in my closet always tip me off that my nieces were near by. I love it!
