The purpose of this blog: My light bulb went out in the middle of doing homework last night. I forgot about it until I got home from school tonight. Uhhhh. So, I took apart the fixture to replace the thing and found my basic light bulb to be inadequate. In it's place was some kind of smart looking plug-in light bulb. I quickly set out to find a replacement because I needed the light to do my homework! Can this smarter light bulb be found at the grocery store? No. And onward I went to Home Depot. After wandering around this lumber aromatic warehouse, the situation became grim. The energy efficient light bulb I sought was no where to be found. An orange-vested man, noticing my dismay, approached to help. I handed over the light bulb I had "unplugged" from my ceiling. He had a little trouble locating a replacement himself. But soon enough, sent me out the door with what he thought would work. That's right, he thought wrong! I'm still in the dark here. The light bulb didn't fit the plug in outlet. Should light bulb shopping be so troublesome? Who thought this was a good idea? And now, when I have good ideas, does a yellow light bulb pop up? Or is that only for below average ideas... less forward thinking ideas? If you have a really good idea, does a smart energy efficient bulb pop up? Just wondering. I'm somewhat annoyed.
Side note: I'm dying a slow and painful death with school. I am 85% confident I will fail at least one class. I'm just not pulling it together fast enough. But I have determined that if I fail to graduate due to a failing grade, I will not return to FIDM. I'm done.
